Most home inspection companies across the country are offered by someone with training they took from a completely different country. Here at All Clear Home Inspections our inspectors are Maritime certified inspectors and master inspectors. This means not only that they took the same kind of training offered in home inspection programs around the world, but that they have training specifically developed for Atlantic Canada. That also means a program of continuous education ensuring that our inspectors are keeping their
skills sharp and providing our customers with the most up-to-date information.
Inspectors will be offered Maritime Certification through All Clear. To maintain their certification in good standing they need to maintain an attendance of 60% of all updates, skills, code correction and other continuous education courses. Inspectors will be deemed to "have attended" classes if they attended the training live, if they attended the training virtually, or if they watched the video recording of the skills training and passed a follow up assessment on the information presented with a score of no less than 80%.
All Clear Home Inspections does not discriminate against any Inspector for race, creed, gender, ect… As members of the Maritime Certified Inspectors Board, we will be expected to maintain professionalism on a personal level as well as a work environment. Inspectors are expected to be in good community standing and act above reproach. An Inspector is required to maintain confidentiality of the houses and clients that are inspected. At no time should anyone other then the purchasing party be given access to a home inspection report or home inspection details. A home inspector is required to present a written home inspection report that is clear, concise and worthy of presentation within 24 hours of completing a home inspection. All Clear Home Inspections holds the title of certification with the Maritime Certified Inspectors Board, and our individual inspectors are certified through All Clear. Individual inspectors are not permitted to perform inspections that they are not trained and certified to complete. There is a lengthy list of possible secondary certifications available to our home inspectors. Inspections that require a specific skill set will be matched with inspectors certified to complete that specific inspection. There are 3 factors that all clear considers when selecting a home inspector for a specific job, geographic region, skills and availability. It is possible to be matched with an inspector from a different part of the province if that is the inspector that best matches your specific inspection needs.
